I was raised on a farm where organic gardening was practiced in the 50’s and still today. I rode before I walked and continue to love and work with horses. I learned beekeeping from my Dad – who also taught beekeeping for the Peace Corps in the Fiji Islands. I milk goats, make goat cheese, garden, put by the harvest, and raise rabbits for meat. My farm skills come from working with my Dad, Mom and my husband who is also a beekeeper, butcher, carpenter, and business executive. My other career was in human resources and project management. I am now using those skills to manage our family farm business.
