Root Farm is a small family owned and operated farm. It is run by our family of four. We have chickens, ducks, turkeys, sheep and pigs. We also raise a couple of butcher calves each year. Oh, and don't forget the llamas!
We feel that living the way our grandparents did gets us closer to living healthfully and keeping our environment clean. We also raise our animals as naturally as possible.
Living like this gives our children a much better understanding of nature, where our food comes from, and how much work it is to produce the food that we eat. It will make them much more self-sufficient and capable of providing for themselves.
