Chocolate Nut Bread

4 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 3/4 cups milk
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups (9-ounce package) Neslte Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease two 5-by-9-inch loaf pans.

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl.

Combine eggs, milk and oil in medium bowl. Add to flour mixture and mix until just moistened. Stir in chocolate morsels. Spoon into prepared pans.

Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then remove from pans and cool on wire racks.

Editor’s Note: If you’re looking for even more chocolate flavor, drizzle chocolate over the cooled loaves. Simply microwave 1/2 cup semi-sweet morsels in a heavy-duty plastic bag on High for 45 seconds. Knead bag to mix, and microwave at additional 10- to 20-second intervals until melted and smooth. Cut a small hole in corner of bag, and squeeze to drizzle over bread. Enjoy!
