Not only is it delicious in the morning, it’s also mighty tasty as an evening meal. And using frozen biscuits cuts down your time in the kitchen, which gives you more time with your family.

Easy Biscuits and Gravy Recipe

8 frozen biscuits
1 roll (1 pound) original recipe sausage
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
Salt and black pepper, to taste

Prepare biscuits according to package directions.

In large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage, crumbling with fork, until browned.

Without draining grease from sausage, stir in flour until dissolved.

Gradually stir in milk, and cook until gravy is thick and bubbly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve country gravy over hot biscuits. Easy Biscuits and Gravy Recipe yields 4 servings.

This is basically the same recipe I use. I add in a pinch of sugar to tone down the harshness of the milk. I have to double the recipe just to feed my teenage daughter (16) and son (14), they like it that much!
