Every summer is a second chance for me. I have fibromyalgia, as well as an unspecified neurological condition. Cool, crisp autumns, the fresh blast of winter air, and the gradual warmup to spring all seem to be at war against my body.

Best pain relief for Fibromyalgia

When the heat of summer arrives, my muscles and nerves find some respite. The joint pain doesn’t completely go away, but it’s a big improvement over the rest of the year.

I can go out into the garden and feel the tension and pain in my muscles melt in the warmth of the sun, and for a while, my leg, toe and foot cramps take a vacation.

Although it’s only temporary, every summer I feel like a new person, and I look forward to opportunity — in the form of warm summer days — knocking on my door.
