My husband and I were both raised in the country and loved it, but after getting married we ended up living right in the middle of our small town. After eight years and two children, we decided we wanted to give our children the kind of upbringing that we both had. We made the big move to 25 acres of beautiful land. We are currently growing that 25 acres into a small farm that will eventually sustain our family. We have a big garden plot, the beginnings of a small orchard, chickens and guineas, and we plan on adding cows, pigs, and possibly other farm animals.
