I was raised in the country, where every road was dirt or gravel. Most of my summer vacations were spent with my grandparents. Every day was a reason to celebrate to them. They gardened, farmed, canned, cooked from scratch and loved life. Most things were farm raised, homegrown and made by hand. Having spent time enjoying convenience foods and things, my family and I are now getting back to doing more and more things fresh and homemade!
