A DIY craft welcome sign made with deer scrapbook paper and run-on letters that spell out The Regans.

If you have some thin plywood scraps or smaller boards that you don’t have any plans for, here’s a great little project that will look fantastic hanging on the front door to greet company.

Sand the surface of your plywood or board so it’s fairly rough. Then cut a piece of scrapbook paper to fit the wood surface, and attach it with a thin layer of découpage. Set it aside and let it dry thoroughly.

Decide what your sign will say, then choose and add your lettering using rub-ons or stickers. Apply a thin layer of decoupage to the sides and the front, carefully covering the lettering. Let it dry completely, then staple a piece of rope to the back for hanging.
