1. Find a desirable, appropriately sized (for your pet) vintage suitcase at an antique store or yard sale.
2. Attach legs to the suitcase. For this project, I purchased pre-fabricated wood legs at Lowes and stained them with wood stain; then screwed them to the bottom of the suitcase.
3. Find an old pillow that fits nicely inside the suitcase. Put it inside a color-coordinated pillowcase and place it inside the suitcase.
4. If the suitcase doesn’t stay open, attach straps. Simply drill holes in the suitcase and use barrel nuts to attach straps of patterned webbing.
