Miles YoungSocial media is a great way to stay connected with friends, but that’s not the only thing you can do. You can also show off what you’re eating and see what others are eating, too. Take a look at why people share photos on social media and how it inspires us to bake.

Instagram Lets Us Show Off What We Bake

People like using Instagram because it's an instant way to show friends and the world what you’re up to. All you do is take a photo and then choose a filter to enhance it. Then, you can share the photo with all of your friends. This social media site was bought by Facebook, so the two are commonly used in conjunction with each other.

For instance, Instagram photos of food can be streamed through Facebook. People are constantly posting photos of what they're eating or baking to show off. And this encourages others to do the same.

Miles, ha, you made me laugh. You are assuming that everyone is eating something interesting. Anyone that would follow my Midwest eating habits would be totally bored. A diet of three or four basic meals always with meat potatoes and corn would certainly not be of interest to the fast paced digital crowd. Once in a great while I do search the internet to find a new way to cook meat, potatoes, or corn, so keep on posting your dinner and just maybe someday I'll have a craving for the very thing you have posted. ***** I suppose it's about what ever a person's passion is. Now gardening. That's something I could post about all day long and well, it'd be interesting to me. I'm not so sure about others. ***** Have a great social media inspiration to eat day.
