Oven Barbecued Ribs Recipe

Oven Barbecued Ribs

2 tablespoons sugar
½ cup cold water
1 teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons vinegar
1 clove garlic, crushed
4 to 5 pounds lean beef ribs

Combine sugar, water, paprika, red pepper, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar and garlic in saucepan. Bring to slow boil, and boil for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring.



Place ribs in a roasting pan and bake at 350° F for 60 to 75 minutes, or until meat is tender. During last 30 minutes of baking time, pour off any fat and cover ribs with sauce.
