Whether your guests’ taste buds favor sweet, salty, tangy, cheesy or chocolaty, there’s a party mix recipe for everyone. With great flavor and a hearty crunch, no one will be able to resist digging into a big bowl of party mix.

Cheesy Ranch Party Mix
9 cups toasted corn, rice or wheat
cereal, or a combination
2 cups bite-size pretzel twists
2 cups bite-size cheese crackers
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 package (1 oz.) ranch-style dressing
and seasoning mix
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
In a large microwavable bowl, combine cereal, pretzels and crackers; set aside.
Place butter in a small microwavable bowl; microwave, uncovered, on High for 30 seconds, or until melted. Pour over cereal mixture and stir until evenly coated. Stir in dressing mix and cheese, mixing well.
Microwave, uncovered, on High for 3 minutes, stirring after each minute. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in an airtight container. Yields 26 servings.
Cinnamon-Apple Party Mix
5 cups toasted wheat cereal
1 cup lightly salted whole almonds
¼ cup butter or margarine
¹/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup chopped dried apples
½ cup vanilla yogurt-covered raisins
In a large microwavable bowl, combine cereal and almonds; set aside.
Place butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and cinnamon in a 2-cup microwavable measuring cup. Microwave, uncovered, on High for 1 minute. Stir, then microwave for another minute, or until mixture boils. Stir again, then pour over cereal mixture. Stir until evenly coated.
Microwave, uncovered, on High for 3 minutes, stirring and scraping bowl after every minute. Stir in apples. Microwave, uncovered, on High for about 2 minutes, or until apples just begin to brown on edges.
Spread mixture on waxed paper to cool, about 5 minutes. Place in a serving bowl; stir in raisins. Store in an airtight container. Yields 16 servings.
The Original Party Mix
3 cups toasted corn cereal
3 cups toasted rice cereal
3 cups toasted wheat cereal
1 cup mixed nuts
1 cup bite-size pretzels
1 cup garlic-flavor bite-size bagel chips
or regular-size bagel chips that have
been broken into 1-inch pieces
6 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1½ teaspoons seasoned salt
¾ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
In a large microwavable bowl, combine cereals, nuts, pretzels and bagel chips; set aside.
Place butter in a small microwavable bowl; microwave, uncovered, on High for 40 seconds, or until melted. Stir in remaining ingredients and pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated. Microwave, uncovered, on High for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.
Spread mixture on paper towels to cool. Store in an airtight container. Yields 24 servings.
