Soup's On - Three Tasty Soup Recipes
8 cups water
1 pound ground chicken, thawed
1 package (9.2 ounces) Shore Lunch Classic Chicken Noodle Soup Mix
3 tablespoons tomato paste
1 can (10 ounces) diced tomatoes with green chiles
1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
In soup pot, bring water to rolling boil.
Spray nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Add chicken, and cook, stirring to break up, until no longer pink, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Whisk soup mix into boiling water. Add chicken, tomato paste, diced tomatoes and chiles, and thyme. Return to boiling.
Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
