As Long as There is Christmas

This ol' world may not always hold
The charms we wish it would,
But as long as there is Christmas,
Evil cannot outdo good.

As long as there are children
With their eyes so shining bright,
We can hold on to the promise
That darkness fades with light.

As long as there is Christmas,
Though our lives be far apart,
We will always have a home,
For home is in the heart.

With our memories and traditions,
We gather close each year,
And as long as there is Christmas,
Our love will keep us near.
