Nelsons Edible Acres

In the fall of 2013, we made the move out to our little piece of heaven, eight acres outside Topeka, Kansas. My husband Jacob and I both grew up in the city, but had begun to long for rural life. We wanted to raise our children where they had room to enjoy the great outdoors and teach them where food really comes from. We currently raise Barbados sheep, free-range laying hens and pastured broilers. I enjoy gardening, all things homemade and have a special passion for helping others learn to feel amazing through real food and wellness practices. You can follow me on my personal blog.
