When you think of summer, what comes to mind? Swimming as a means of summer fun and coping with summer heat is the first thing we think of. From a certain spot on the river to the creek or pond behind the house, nothing is as refreshing as a leisurely swim during the dog days of summer.

Sit back with an ice-cold glass of lemonade and relax as you read our favorite stories from Capper’s Farmer readers regarding their favorite swimming holes.
