Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4-1/2 cups flour

Directions

  • In a large bowl, combine water and yeast. Let stand for 5 minutes. Stir in butter, sugar, eggs and salt. Beat in flour, 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition, until dough comes together in a ball.
  • Place dough in a large, greased bowl, turning to coat. Cover and refrigerate for up to four days.
  • When ready to make rolls, pinch off pieces of chilled dough and shape into rolls. Place in a greased baking dish, and let rise until doubled in size.
  • Preheat oven to 375 F.
