One of my most valuable gifts is a Bible – not in the sense of monetary value, but in what its pages contain and because it was a gift from someone special. It was given to me by my mother, who went to her heavenly home at 98 years of age.
The Bible, a part of my mother’s legacy, has been in my possession for 23 years now, and it has a special place on a table in the living room. Its pages are worn because they have been turned and read many times.
I will always consider my mother’s Bible to be a priceless gift she passed on to me.
