Danish Onion and Beet Salad Recipe

2 (20 ounce) cans sliced beets, drained
1 medium-sized onion, sliced thinly into rings

Dressing:
1/4 cup salad oil
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon dry mustard
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon celery seed (optional)
Pinch of garlic salt
Dash of pepper

Mix together beets and onion rings in a shallow bowl.

Dressing: Combine all dressing ingredients. Pour over beets and onion rings. Cover; refrigerate overnight.
