Ghostly Graveyard Cookies

Prepared sugar cookie dough
Prepared buttercream icing
Leaf Green, Black and Brown Icing Colors (from Wilton)
Coconut flakes

Roll out cookie dough to 1/8 inch thick. Cut cookies using the 3D Halloween Cookie Cutter Set (from Wilton). Place on ungreased cookie sheets and bake for 6 to 7 minutes, or until cookies are lightly browned. Remove from cookie sheets and cool completely.

Tint portions of prepared buttercream icing with icing colors. Tint coconut flakes with green icing color.

Ice all cookies (see photo for visual guidance) using a spatula.

Sprinkle green coconut flakes over green icing on base cookies. Pipe “RIP” and a few squiggly lines in black on tombstone cookies. Create eyes and a mouth on ghost cookies. Pipe the outline of the tree with tip #22 in brown icing.

Attach tree, ghost and tombstone cookies to base cookies using icing, as shown in photo.
