Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1-1⁄4 cups old-fashioned oatmeal
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1⁄2 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Place oatmeal in a bowl and cover with milk.
- Stir and allow oats to soak in milk for about five minutes.
- Stir in eggs and oil and then mix in flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Cook pancakes on heated, oiled griddle. Serve with fresh applesauce or sliced bananas.
