Tips for Party Pizzas

Pizza is a perfect dish for almost any occasion, and here are a few tips that will make your party pizzas the best they can be.

  • Make it Fresh. Scratch delivery and frozen pizzas from your playbook. Instead, make a fresh and easy homemade pizza like California Confetti Pizza. Serve it as a traditional pizza, or cut it into appetizer-sized bites to make it easier for your guests to enjoy.
  • Customize Your Pizzas. Set up a pizza bar with heat-and-eat crusts. Have guests pile on their own choice of toppings, then pop the pizzas under the broiler or on the grill for a few minutes. Customized mini-pizzas will make everyone happy.

California Confetti Pizza

1 prepared 12-inch pizza bread shell, baked
1/2 cup Wholly Salsa, or to taste
4 ounces Wholly Guacamole
1/2 cup fresh or canned corn kernels
1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
1/4 cup chopped Anaheim chile
1/4 cup chopped red pepper
1 cup crumbled Feta cheese
1 tablespoon chopped, fresh oregano
1 tablespoon olive oil

Brush pizza shell with a little olive oil. Spread salsa over shell, then cover with guacamole.

Sprinkle corn, green onions, Anaheim chile, red bell pepper, cheese and oregano over the top. Drizzle with olive oil.

Bake at 450 degrees until cheese is lightly browned, about 10 minutes.
