- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup butter OR margarine, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup sliced almonds
- Granulated sugar
- Sliced almonds for garnish, optional
